How is milk rate calculated using FAT and SNF?
In the two-axis method, kg FAT = litres × FAT% ÷ 100 and kg SNF = litres × SNF% ÷ 100. The amount is kg FAT × rate per kg FAT plus kg SNF × rate per kg SNF. Divide the amount by litres to get the rate per litre.
What is the FAT-only method?
Some dairies pay only on FAT. The rate per litre is FAT% × rate per FAT point, and the amount is rate per litre × litres. It is simpler but does not reward milk with higher SNF.
Is the data I enter saved anywhere?
No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is stored or sent to our servers.
Can Simple Dairy calculate this automatically for every collection?
Yes. Simple Dairy's milk collection module applies your FAT/SNF rate chart to every entry, prints or WhatsApps the slip to the farmer, and keeps a running ledger of payments.
Calculating for 200 farmers every morning?
Simple Dairy applies your rate chart to every collection entry, sends the slip on WhatsApp and keeps each farmer's ledger up to date.
